Accessibility Statement

Binary Spirit S.L. is committed to making Fair Divider accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement is published in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act, applicable from 28 June 2025) and Royal Decree 1112/2018 transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 in Spain.

1. Conformance Target

Fair Divider aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Where Level AAA criteria can be met without disproportionate burden, we adopt them voluntarily.

2. Conformance Status

Fair Divider is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. The known limitations are listed in section 4.

3. Accessibility Features Implemented

Semantic HTML throughout (<main>, <nav>, <section>, <footer>, etc.)
Logical heading hierarchy (one <h1> per page; nested <h2>/<h3> reflect document structure)
Form fields associated with explicit <label> elements
Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive controls
Color contrast verified at WCAG AA on both light and dark color schemes
Honoring the prefers-reduced-motion CSS media query — animations are disabled when this preference is set
Honoring the prefers-color-scheme media query — automatic light/dark adaptation
Responsive layout that supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
Language declared on every page via the lang attribute on <html>
ARIA live regions used to announce division-state changes to assistive technology in multi-device mode

4. Known Limitations

The following items are known not yet to fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working to address them:

The Cloudflare Turnstile widget shown on the multi-device page is provided by a third party; its accessibility characteristics are outside our direct control.
The result-allocation visualization does not yet provide a full text-only equivalent. The numerical results are always presented in a fully accessible table next to the visualization.
Drag-and-drop affordances in the standalone calculator have a keyboard-accessible fallback, but the discoverability of that fallback can be improved.

5. Date of Assessment

The most recent self-assessment was carried out on 26 April 2026 using a combination of manual keyboard testing, axe-core automated checks, and Lighthouse accessibility audits on Chrome 127, Safari 17, and Firefox 128.

7. Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may submit a complaint to the competent national authority. In Spain, this is the Observatorio de Accesibilidad Web of the Ministry for Digital Transformation: administracionelectronica.gob.es.

8. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. This statement will be reviewed at least once a year and updated whenever significant changes are made to the Service.
